This is also a project related to the education sector. Kalyan Ashram itself started its journey by establishing a hostel and the work of Kalyan Ashram can be shown to any person by reflecting upon the working and achievements of a Hostel. Today we are running 238 hostels in the country, out of which there are 48 hostels dedicated for girls. A total of 7320 boys and girls are studying in these hostels. Today, many rural forest dwelling workers, while introducing themselves say – ‘I have studied in the hostel of Kalyan Ashram’ which implies that the Hostels play an important role in development of workers. Hostels provide a conducive atmosphere for imbibing values ​​along with imparting education. It is worth mentioning that many children from rural areas of far-flung areas in North-East come to study in hostels running in different cities of our country. This is a unique project running for all of them. By means of providing Hostels, a sense of national unity is strengthened by means of education.
